4th annual Sustainable Peterborough Partnership Recognition Event & Awards

Sustainable Peterborough is pleased to invite you to attend the 4th annual Sustainable Peterborough Partnership Recognition Event & Awards. We are delighted to again host this year’s event at Lang Pioneer Village Museum’s Peterborough County Agricultural Heritage Building!

In order to recognize the numerous sustainable achievements that our partner organizations have accomplished in 2018, Sustainable Peterborough is proud to host the 4th annual Sustainable Peterborough Partnership Recognition Awards.  Winners will be announced at the event.

The event will feature a special keynote presentation by Todd Lucier – “This Extra-ordinary Life”. Todd Lucier’s personal mission is to “Bring people together in harmony, celebrating the unique skills, talents and abilities of each individual to achieve extra-ordinary things.” He tells stories, informs, and inspires people to live an extra-ordinary life of passion, purpose and joy. A global leader in sustainable rural tourism, Todd co-founded Northern Edge Algonquin – Canada’s solar powered nature retreat – in 1995. His invitation to rural communities is to pursue sustainable tourism opportunities that grow the depth, breadth and impact of the visitor economy while providing unique experiences. He will share part of his journey as a teacher, traveler, journalist, techie, retreat facilitator, documentary film producer, unplugging advocate, bee keeper, and ice man. His hope is that we come away inspired to grow community connections.
