The Sustainable Peterborough Report Card is our opportunity to celebrate our collective accomplishments, present our community partners, and introduce our future work plan. Each annual Report Card highlights a sampling of our community’s sustainable accomplishments. For a more comprehensive list, please visit the Sustainable Activities database to learn about the actions that our Community Partners are undertaking or planning to undertake towards becoming more sustainable.

As a Partner in Climate Protection, Sustainable Peterborough is currently developing a Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP) for the Greater Peterborough Area to reduce local contributions to climate change and prepare the community for present and expected changes that will occur as a result of climate change. The overall objective of the CCAP is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the use of fossil fuels, lower our energy consumption, and adapt to our changing climate. For more information on the CCAP project please visit the Climate Change Action Plan page.
