Event Calendar

This half-day forum will provide important research and context for decision-makers, planners, farmers, and organizations in food and farming. Participants will learn more about issues that are key to participation in ongoing Official Plan Reviews throughout Peterborough County and City. Participants will hear:

• Steve Duff, Chief Economist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
• Bryan Weir, Director of Planning, County of Peterborough
• City of Peterborough Planning Department staff
• presentations on research into food and agriculture in the City and County, including the Food Charter adopted by the Board of Health and Sustainable Peterborough

There will be an opportunity for discussion and community feedback. Come and be a part of planning for the future of food and farming in our community!
