September 17, 2017The first Veg food & lifestyle festival in our region is taking place Sunday, September 17, 2017, 11-6, at Millennium Park! Peterborough VegFest is a local expression of a global movement, celebrating the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of a delicious plant-based lifestyle.
Scheduled in the fall, to celebrate the harvest season and Local Food Month in Peterborough, this free event features speakers, workshops, performers, and, of course, delicious food for all to enjoy!
Peterborough VegFest is a family friendly festival, all are welcome to come and enjoy delicious vegan food and goods in beautiful downtown Peterborough! Admission is free!

September 24, 2017Join us as the County of Peterborough, our eight townships and our two First Nation communities come together to celebrate Canada 150+ and the 50th Anniversary of Lang Pioneer Village Museum with a traditional county fair with a modern twist! Take part in an opportunity to envision the next 150 years.
Featuring:
- View the Village and surrounding countryside from your seat at the top of a giant Ferris Wheel!
- Bouncy castles
- Obstacle course
- Contests and games for everyone (three-legged races, sack races, etc.)
- Live entertainment provided by each township on the Village stage throughout the day
- First Nations activities in Aabnaabin Camp
- Baking contest
- Official Ceremonies to open the County of Peterborough Agricultural Building, Celebrate Canada 150+ and the 50th Anniversary of Lang Pioneer Village Museum
- Horse and wagon rides
- Village will be “dressed up” for the occasion
Admission: Adults $10, Students/Seniors $9, Youths (ages 5-14) $6, Free for children under 5, Family (includes 2 adults & up to 4 youths) $30
