B!KE is a not-for-profit organization that teaches bicycle maintenance, repair, and riding. We do so primarily through our Open Shop drop-in program where you can learn to fix your own bicycle. The bicycle is a simple machine and learning to fix yours is an empowering experience. Our friendly staff and volunteer mechanics can assist you in competing basic maintenance, tricky repairs, and total bicycle overhauls!
We also offer seasonal school and community based programs and workshops on a variety of bicycle topics. These include Pedal Power, Earn-a-Bike, Build Night, and the Home Mechanic Workshop Series. B!KE accepts donations of used bicycles and welcomes volunteers of all abilities.
B!KE’s downtown shop is located at 336 Rubidge Street. Learn more by visiting our website at www.communitybikeshop.org or contacting us at 705.775.7227. Email Tegan(at)communtybikeshop(dot)org if you are interested in one of our programs or becoming a B!KE volunteer.
