Permaculture Gardening is a year round project and asks that you think a certain way. Learn to garden in partnership with Nature to build a long term rewarding system that works for earth and humanity! Now is the perfect time to start!

This practical workshop is designed to help all gardeners create long term resilience in their gardening plan. This course will help you begin to think like a permaculturist, with long term vision planning, care for the earth, care for the people and creating surplus to share in mind.

You will learn how to expand your relationship to your garden creating a natural oasis rich in abundance of life, energy, diversity & produce. Learn how to break chemical dependency, use less water, build up healthy soil and design for efficiency and maximum benefit. Start adding new permaculture design elements in this year's garden!

Class I: Soil, Compost, Worms & Mulch
Wed. May 3; 6:00-8:00pm
Learn how to build your soil, 5 ways of making compost, vermiculture and how, what and why to mulch everything. We're starting from the ground up and going deep.

Class II: Water, Weeds & Wetlands
Wed. May 10; 6:00-8:00pm
We’ll discuss greywater, waterways, ponds and barrels, drought, controlling weeds, and managing your wetland. Water is the key harvest to consider in every garden.

Class III: Planting Guilds, Gardens and Design Ideas
Wed. May 17; 6:00-8:00pm
We’ll bring it all together by designing guilds, herb spirals, mixed gardens etc. raise beds and much more for your garden goals. Bring your site plans – let's make this personal!
